IAM Responsible is an initiative by the Indian Adfilm Makers (IAM) Association that promotes ethical advertising, responsible branding, and social impact. Through expert talks, industry leaders share insights on using media for positive change. Past sessions include Parasya Sancharam with Santhosh George Kulangara on storytelling in media, Responsible Tourism with Shri. Muhammad Riyas on sustainable tourism, and Responsible Branding with Kochouseph Chittilappilly and Navas Meeran on corporate responsibility. IAM continues to champion responsible storytelling and ethical brand practices.
IAM WORKSHOPS: Mastering the Craft
IAM conducts immersive hands-on workshops designed to equip members with essential industry skills and techniques. These workshops provide practical training in various aspects of ad filmmaking, ensuring participants gain real-world expertise from seasoned professionals. One such notable workshop, "ACTORS PREPARES: Workshop on Directing Actors & Methods of Screen Acting," was led by Devendranath, a renowned performance researcher and acting coach, in collaboration with NEO Film School. IAM’s workshops continue to offer invaluable learning experiences, fostering growth and elevating industry standards for aspiring and established professionals alike.
IAM RESPONSIBLE AWARDS: Honoring Social Impact
As part of the IAM Responsible initiative, the IAM Responsible Awards recognize organizations and individuals dedicated to societal welfare. The 2023 awardees were:AMMA (Association of Malayalam Movie Artists) – Honored for its social initiatives benefiting members and society.FEFKA (Film Employees Federation of Kerala) – Recognized for its continuous welfare programs.KFPA (Kerala Film Producers Association) – Acknowledged for its contributions to the industry.
